Hep2O Central Heating Fittings
What size Hep2O pipe do I need?
Hep2O pipe is available in three different diameters - 15mm, 22mm and 28mm - just like copper pipe and comes in various coiled lengths. Hep2O is a direct replacement for runs of copper piping, so you can use the same diameter.
Can you use Hep2O on copper pipe?
Yes, Hep2O systems are compatible and can be used alongside existing copper systems. This is achieved by using hep2O fittings that can connect the two together.
How long do Hep2O fittings last?
Hep2O systems have a life expectancy of more than 50 years. While this technology is relatively new, extensive testing has shown that Hep2O systems that experience temperatures between 20 to 90 degrees celsius are extremely reliable with no maintenance.
Is Hep2O better than copper?
There are many advantages in using Hep2O over copper. Unlike copper, Hep2O is much more flexible and easier to install, keeping labour costs down on heating installations. It also doesn’t produce knocking and tapping sounds as it heats up like copper can.
